Binding Arbitration is an appeal option for taxpayers that do not agree with the Board of Equalization’s decision and who do not wish to appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals or the Adams County District Court.
The cost for a residential arbitration appeal is $150. The cost for a commercial arbitration appeal begins at $250 and can vary based on the outcome of the hearing and the decision of the arbitrator. All decisions of the arbitrator are final and cannot be further appealed.

Any request for Binding Arbitration must be received in writing within 30 days of date on the Board of Equalization decision letter. Please complete the Binding Arbitration Request Form and submit it by email or hand deliver to:
