Blue flowersThe 2025 Open Class Flower Show is open for entry for every gardener! Do you have flowers, plants, or vegetables you are looking to show off? FlowersAll entries must be received on Wednesday, July 30 from 8:30-11:00. Colorado Master Gardener Volunteers will be available to assist with entries if you’ve never entered before. You must have grown your entries yourself and containers will be provided for all flower and vegetable entries.

The Open Class Flower Show is open to the public July 31 – Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
 

 

 

Categories for EntryFlowers

Horticulture Section 1: Vegetable Crops

  • Bring 3 uniform examples of your vegetables for entry. If your vegetables are small, please bring 5. 

Horticulture Section 5: Annuals

  • Bring 3 of each stem for entry. 

Horticulture Section 10: Perennials

  • Bring 3 of each stem for entry.

Horticulture Section 20: Roses

  • Bring 1 bloom or spray for entry.

Horticulture Section 25: Trees and Shrubs

  • Bring trees or shrubs branches between 12 inches and less than 30 inches in length, except for miniature or dwarf specimens. 

Horticulture Sections 30, 35, 40: Container Grown Plants

  • Containers should not exceed 10” and plant must be well rooted into the pot. See premium book for more details
