The Community Transit program is a joint project between Adams County and the cities of Arvada, Commerce City, Federal Heights, Thornton, Northglenn, and Westminster to improve transportation services for our shared aging community in Adams County. This is a grant- and community-funded program and all rides are free.
Services are available to Adams County residents who are 60-plus and/or who have a disability. These services are available for personal needs, groceries, medical appointments, and more. Rides are limited to within Adams County, with the exception of medical appointments. These services are provided by these organizations:
A-Lift
Free transportation services for medical and nutritional needs. Reserve a ride by calling 303.447.9636.
Via Mobility
Free door-through-door transportation services. Residents using this service can get help with:
- to the car
- Putting on a coat
- Assistance at appointments
- Wheelchair accessibility
Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG)
Free door-to-door service, provided by:
- RTD
- Uber/Lyft
- DRCOG Drivers
