On August 6th & 7th, the E-470 Transportation Safety Foundation invites you to experience a driving simulator that is used to show people what it is like to be impaired and what happens when you get behind-the-wheel of a vehicle to drive while impaired. Being impaired is not only drinking and drugging, but it can be prescription drugs, fatigue, improper nutrition, stress, emotions, distractions, vehicle and weather conditions. So stop by and visit "Simba" the simulator in the North Parking Lot.

   Get ready for the 9NEWS and momslikeme.com Mountain Bike Course on August 6th, 7th, and 8th. A unique mountain bike obstacle course gives kids an awesome opportunity to increase their bicycle skills. No need to bring your bike as this event provides you with a loaner bike and helmet along with instructions from beginner to advanced.

 - Thanks to momslikeme.com, even the youngest fair visitor who is not old enough for the big kid rides will enjoy their day at the Adams County Fair! Visit the playland on the west side of the Waymire Facility for fun and activities geared towards children under the age of 5.  Visit the momslikeme.com booth on Friday, August 6th to register to win the toys used in the playland. (Playland toys will be distributed to the drawing winners following the completion of the fair)

Hey kids - come out and meet BJ the Texas Longhorn, Blain the Clydesdale and Max the Brahma at the Kodiak Ranch Photo Booth located in the Children's Pavilion. These gentle giants will be on display August 6th, 7th, and 8th. BJ, the Texas Longhorn spends most of his days sleeping and loves it when he gets to show his impressive 5 ft. rack that he has been proudly growing for 10 years! Max, the full blooded Braham thinks he's just the family pet! Blain the Clydesdale came all the way from Manitoba, Canada to be part of the Kodiak Ranch Family. At around 1800 pounds, Blain is a very impressive horse.

Admit it, if you had a hamster growing up, you wanted to do this! Two people climb into the huge vinyl balls and use the blower to inflate the balls around them as they zip themselves in. Then it's, READY, SET, GO as you run like crazy and race your opponent all while trying to keep your balance.  Don't worry - they aren't air tight! Vist the giant hamster balls on August 6th, 7th, and 8th. (maximum weight per hamster ball is 225 lbs)

Hey all you cowgirls & cowboys, get ready for Mutton Bustin at the COORS Light Open Rodeo on Wednesday, August 4th at the United Power Grandstand Arena. Mutton Bustin is limited to 16 qualified contestants! As of March 22nd, This event is sold out.
